Veterinarians

Clay Glenn, DVM

Born and raised in Tennessee, Dr. Clay Glenn has been practicing veterinary medicine in Orlando since 1977. Having received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, he was awarded his DVM Degree from Auburn University in 1977. As a student, Dr. Glenn received several academic awards. He was inducted and a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and Alpha Zeta Honor Society.

Dr. Glenn thoroughly enjoys practicing veterinary medicine. He is a general practitioner with special interests in internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Glenn is an active member of Habitat for Humanity and donates his time to the Christian Veterinary Mission and the LAHASH-Grassroots Partnership With Africa.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Glenn enjoys fishing, boating and refinishing antiques. Even Coco, his toy poodle, enjoys the water; however, she doesn't leave home without her sun visor and life preserver. He also shares his home with Tidli, a Yorkie. Dr. Glenn's daughters Maria and Candace are in college and love hanging out with their pets, boating, wakeboarding and shopping.

An owner and the hospital founder, Dr. Glenn has been practicing veterinary medicine at East Orlando Animal Hospital since 1979.

James Yantorni, DVM

After practicing at a large general and referral veterinary hospital in Hollywood, FL for 3 years, Dr. James Yantorni joined the East Orlando animal health care team in 1985. As an undergraduate, Dr. Yantorni attended Michigan State University and received his BS Degree in Biology. During his undergraduate studies, he was admitted to the veterinary school and was awarded his DVM Degree in 1982.

Dr. Yantorni is a general practitioner and particularly enjoys internal medicine and surgery. His emphasis is on preventive medicine (regular examinations, laboratory testing and immunizations) and strives to provide the best veterinary care that is possible.

During his leisure time, Dr. Yantorni enjoys playing golf, football and basketball. He is married to Cynthia, a dental hygienist, and together they have 3 children. The Yantornis also share their home with Packer, an adult golden retriever.

Kerry Jackson, DVM

Born into a military family, Dr. Kerry Jackson grew up in England but traveled extensively and lived in North Carolina and Pennsylvania before settling down in sunny Florida. Dr. Jackson has been with East Orlando Animal Hospital since September 1995.

Dr. Jackson attended the University of Tampa and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She was also a member of the honors clubs Alpha Psi and Tri Beta and part of the University’s honors program in science. Dr. Jackson went on to attend the University of Florida, where she was awarded a Fellowship in the graduate program for Theriogenology (reproduction). She received her Master’s Degree in 1988 and then enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jackson was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine with honors in 1992.

Dr. Jackson’s professional interests include the care or birds, reptiles, rabbits and other small pets. She performed internships with veterinary hospitals that cared for racing greyhounds as well as exotic pets. Dr. Jackson also interned in Canada, focusing on avian wildlife as well as poultry. She is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians and the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians. Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Humane Society and the SPCA of Central Florida. She also volunteers her time when needed for the Central Florida Wildlife, Inc, and Back to Nature, Inc.

In her spare time, Dr. Jackson cares for a menagerie of pets at her home, including three cockatiels, a green iguana and a corn snake. Adopted retired ex-racing greyhounds and fostered bloodhound puppies with a future in police work round out the household. When time allows, her hobbies include gardening, conservation work, finding new vegetarian recipes and restaurants, kayaking and running marathons.

Katherine Manley, DVM

General practitioner Dr. Katherine Manley has been practicing medicine at East Orlando Animal Hospital since 2004. A Michigan native, Dr. Manley has practiced veterinary medicine since 2003 and moved to Florida to escape the cold Michigan winters.

Dr. Manley attended Michigan State University and Saginaw Valley State University, where she majored in Zoology. She was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Manley was on the dean's list at both schools and received a number of prestigious scholarships during her time in school. Her professional interests include dentistry, urology and treatment of exotic animals.

Dr. Manley is a member of the Central Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of work, Dr. Manley can be found kayaking along Florida's many rivers with her husband, Eric, or at home knitting and quilting. Her four-legged family includes Toby, a Shepherd mix; Joey, a Boxer; cats Simon, Edie, Mia and Andy; and a rabbit named Pat.

Jason White, DVM

Originally form South Africa, general practitioner Dr. Jason White has practiced medicine at East Orlando Animal Hospital since 2006.

Dr. White is an alumnus of the University of Florida, where he was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. While at the University of Florida, Dr. White also minored in Business and Poultry Science and was on the dean's list for five years. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree, Dr. White attended the University of Florida Veterinary School, and was awarded his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Dr. White's professional interests include surgery and internal medicine. Dr. White also volunteers his time with Operation: Catnip—Gainesville, an effort to spay and neuter stray cats.

Fishing, scuba diving, sailing and other aquatic activities are among Dr. White's hobbies, as well as auto racing and car repair. When he's not in the water or on the road, Dr. White is usually spending time with his pets: Zack, a Pit bull; Zeke, a Weimaraner; and Xerxes, a cat.
