Why did you choose veterinary care? I grew up on a farm and always loved working with animals. I truly enjoyed helping them stay healthy or treating them so they could become healthy and live happily.

Accreditation & Accolades: Member of AVMA, FVMA, CFVMA and AAHA. Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and Alpha Zeta Honor Society.

In the biz? I've been a veterinarian since graduating with my DVM from Auburn University in 1977 and have a special interest in Orthopedics and Dermatology.

What do you do in your free time: I enjoy boating, jet skiing and refinishing antiques.

Family Members: I have two daughters and share my home with 2 four-legged friends - Coco, a Miniature Poodle and Tildi, a Teacup Yorkie.

Community / Volunteer Work: Outside of work, I am an active member of Habitat for Humanity and volunteer with the Christian Veterinary Mission and LAHAS - Grassroots Partnership with Africa.
