Name: Katherine Manley, DVM
Born: Upper Marlboro, MD and raised in Saginaw, MI
Why did you choose veterinary care? Growing up I was always surrounded by wildlife and was inspired by that interaction to help sick and wounded animals. I began my journey volunteering at The Saginaw Children's Zoo (where I also met my husband) to help me learn as much as I could about different animals outside of the classroom.
Accreditation & Accolades: AVMA, AAHA, Assoc. of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians and American Veterinary Dental Society.
What do you do in your free time: I enjoy spending time with my family, scrapbooking, decorating cakes, sewing, knitting and kayaking.
Family Members: My husband, Eric and I have a daughter and we share our home with Toby and Joey, our dogs; and Simon, Edie, Mia and Andrew, our cats.
Community / Volunteer Work: I volunteer with Eco-Action and we help to keep Central Florida's waterways clean.
