The Obedience Training Program at EOAH is fun and effective. We offer small group classes with individualized attention tailored to meet your dog’s needs. Classes are held once a week, rain or shine with an action packed hour of instruction, demonstrations, practice and Q&A opportunities. A Beginner’s Training Manual is provided for easy reference and reinforcement of new behaviors. A graduation party is held on week six where your pet will learn some tricks, we’ll take some pics and award graduation certificates.


Learn the basics of sit, down, stay, wait and come. Practice loose leash walking, watch me, leave it, problem solving, good manners and tricks. Graduation party, diplomas/ribbons.

Intermediate (CGC)

(Pre-requisite – completion of beginner’s basics, or equivalent)
Refine the basics, learn proper heeling techniques and turns, advanced comes, stays, responsible dog ownership and all elements required for Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test which is administered on week six. CGC tags are awarded for all that pass the test.


(Pre-requisite – completion of intermediate or equivalent)
Further refine the basics and introduction to AKC Obedience Event opportunities to include advanced heeling patterns, comes, long sits and down stays, stand for exam, finish, prep for Beginner’s Novice, graduation trophies. Lot’s of fun for dog and handler!
