Fernanda

Fernanda is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Miami, Florida but moved to Orlando in 2015 and started working at East Orlando Animal Hospital Spring 2023. She grew up with a shitzu and had her for 16 years from when she was in Brazil to when she moved to Orlando, she also had another senior shitzu and currently has a 10 year old pitbull. She became interested in vet med because since rescuing two of her dogs she’s had a passion for making sure other animals are taken care of, she started her vet med journey here at East Orlando Animal Hospital. She graduated high school in 2016 at West Orange Senior High and started working right away.

Fernanda’s goal in the future is to continue vet med in an administrative role and continue to help animals in need. Some of her favorite things are the Miami Dolphins, horror movies, and attending rock and heavy metal shows.
